After braces or an appliance is bonded to some of the top teeth, at home you will place a metal bow that slides into slots on the back teeth. A fabric portion will rest on the back of the neck and has plastic arms with holes that attach to the hooks on the metal bow.
Wearing the headgear will be recommended for 12-14 hours a day overnight. Your child's compliance is essential for the treatment success.
