Elastic Spacer (Preparation For Bands)

To bond certain appliances or metal bands that go over your tooth, we need to create space between adjacent teeth. An elastic ring will be stretched and placed between teeth, on either side of the tooth requiring a metal band or appliance. These rings will slightly push teeth apart, allowing bands to fit over the tooth, once the elastic ring is removed.
