How Molds of Teeth Are Taken

To create custom-fit appliances, we will need to take an impression of your teeth. To do this, we will fill a tray that is fitted to your mouth with impression material, then we will insert the tray over your teeth and hold it for about 30 seconds while it hardens. The impression is then filled with liquid stone, creating the stone model of your teeth we will use to create your appliance or retainer.
