Sometimes, based on the shape of your teeth, small triangles will appear between your teeth, near the gums. These are commonly referred to as Black Triangles.
To treat these, the doctor will use a small, rotating, paper-thin disk between your teeth to slightly reshape them. This will be done between any necessary teeth and will leave a very small space between adjacent teeth. These spaces will be later closed using braces or Invisalign. This process will result in the Black Triangles becoming significantly smaller or disappear completely.
