      Mini Implant to Help Guide Tooth Movement

       

       

      When a molar needs to be pulled forward, a small temporary implant will be placed by the doctor into the bone near the anterior region of the same arch. An elastic chain will then be placed, connecting the back molar to the temporary implant, slowly pulling the molar forward.
