What is a prosthetic tooth?

Some people are missing one or more teeth. We can create space for a tooth to be implanted after orthodontic treatment is complete.

While you are in treatment, we can make a prosthetic tooth that looks like a real one and is
held in place by braces, Invisalign®, or a retainer.

Why do I need this?

No one will be able to tell that you are missing a tooth. The prosthetic will look just like a real tooth and hold the space for an implant or bridge.

How does it work?

We use filling material that is built up to look like a tooth. Be careful not to bite and chew with these prosthetics, as they can break. This is a temporary solution until a permanent implant can be installed.
