What is TADS (Temporary Anchorage Devices)?

When we are closing a gap in the teeth, sometimes we use temporary mini implants to help, also known as Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADS).

TADS

Why do I need this?

  • The mini implant acts as an anchor, pulling the teeth into the optimal spot.
  • The desired result is achieved quicker and more comfortably.

How does it work?

  • First, the area is numbed.
  • The implant is then placed.
  • It may remain for up to a few months.
  • It will be removed after the gap is closed.
